1. INTRODUCTION
These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Duo Adventures South Africa ("the Agency,"
"we," "us," or "our") and the traveler ("you," "the client"). By booking a travel package with us, you
agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
2. BOOKING AND PAYMENT
2.1. All bookings require a non-refundable deposit to secure your spot. The deposit amount will be
specified per package.
2.2. The remaining balance must be paid in installments as per the agreed schedule. Failure to adhere to
the payment plan may result in cancellation without a refund.
2.3. Full payment must be completed by the specified deadline before departure. Failure to do so may lead
to forfeiture of your booking.
3. INCLUSIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
3.1. Our travel packages include:
- Round-trip flight tickets
- Accommodation
- Scheduled excursions as per the itinerary
3.2. The package does not include:
- Travel insurance (highly recommended)
- Visa fees (if applicable)
- Personal expenses (e.g., shopping, extra meals, additional activities not listed in the itinerary)
- Vaccinations or medical expenses
4. CANCELLATION POLICY
4.1. The deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.
4.2. If you cancel your booking after making further payments, the following refund policy applies:
- 60+ days before departure: 50% refund of payments made (excluding deposit)
- 30-59 days before departure: 25% refund of payments made (excluding deposit)
- Less than 30 days before departure: No refund
4.3. If the trip is canceled by the Agency due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters,
government restrictions), clients will be offered a rescheduled trip or a partial refund at the Agency’s
discretion.
5. CHANGES TO BOOKING
5.1. Any changes to your booking must be requested in writing and may be subject to additional fees.
5.2. Name changes or transferring a booking to another person may be permitted but will be subject to
airline and hotel policies, as well as an administrative fee.
5.3. If you miss a flight or fail to attend scheduled activities, no compensation or rescheduling will be
provided.
6. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
6.1. Clients are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas (if required), and meet entry
requirements for the destination.
6.2. The Agency is not responsible for denied entry due to improper documentation.
6.3. Travel insurance is highly recommended but not included in the package.
7. LIABILITY
7.1. The Agency is not liable for any personal injury, illness, loss, damage, or expenses incurred during
the trip.
7.2. We work with third-party service providers (airlines, hotels, tour operators) and are not
responsible for their actions, policies, or service failures.
7.3. Clients are responsible for their belongings at all times.
8. CODE OF CONDUCT
8.1. Clients are expected to respect fellow travelers, tour guides, and local communities.
8.2. Any disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the trip without a refund.
9. FORCE MAJEURE
9.1. The Agency shall not be held responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations due to force majeure
events (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, strikes, or war). In such cases,
rescheduling or partial refunds may be considered at our discretion.
10. SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY
10.1. By participating in our trips, you grant the Agency permission to capture and share photos and
videos from the trip on our social media platforms for promotional purposes.
10.2. If you do not wish to have your image or likeness used, you must notify us in writing before the
trip begins.
10.3. The Agency retains the right to use all media content taken during the trip unless a written
objection is received.
10.4. Clients may not use our brand name, logos, or trip content for commercial purposes without prior
written consent.
10.5. The Agency is not liable for any third-party sharing of media content once published on social
media.
11. AGREEMENT
By booking with Duo Adventures South Africa, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed
to these Terms and Conditions.
